Acer AOD250-1383 10.1-Inch Ruby Red Netbook - Up to 8 Hours of Battery Life (Windows 7 Starter) Review
I purchased my acer netbook january 2nd i believe, it was on my doorstep 5 days later. setup was super simple. the fact that it didn't have a cd drive wasn't an issue at all for me. i am a fulltime college student and do all my homework, papers, and a online class on it, it is perfect to pack around in my backpack and take to all my classes, several of my professors even encouraged the use of my netbook in class. it is perfect for note taking, and for during lectures. i also use it for my personal non-school use, like music downloads, picture editing, facebook, myspace, email, etc and it has been perfect. only thing i haven't liked is that windows starter leaves you for very limited personalization, can not change background of desktop, or very many color options, so stuck with basic windows background til upgrade (which costs quite a bit). also not looking forward to paying of full version of office. i did purchase an asus cd/dvd plug and play drive just in case ever needed, for at best buy, super easy setup and works great.
